With Blingo, you can click on a link to see the fastest times achieved by other players. How about a similar feature on hang man, and how about letting us see not only the times but how many guesses it took.

alright...we'll see what we can do, though we don't actually track the information right now. We will consider doing it in the future, but it would be a pretty big thing to write...no promises.

And is there a way we can click on the word and look it up, like in anagram extreme and blingo?

now that is something that we might be able to do easily enough...I will run it by one of the admins, and we might actually have that up soon...

Wow, that's what I thought about posting once! I totally agree, there should be a top-scorer-list on hangman, too.

I don't think we keep track of top scorers on hangman...though I can check.

What about typing the letter in as an option besides having to go through all the links to click on it?

Post 8 by Twinklestar09 (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Saturday, 30-Apr-2005 21:41:44

That one's a good idea. It would be much faster to just type the letters in instead of having to keep going into say the links list for JAWS and pressing the letter. Even though this is the quickest way I can think of to find a letter, but even with this, you still would have to also keep going past the other links from above the actual letters. Also, for others their computers may be slow. So being able to just type the letter in would save a good deal of time for everyone. Also that's a cool idea about also keeping track of the number of guesses as well as the time.

well, there are plenty of stupid people on the cite, that might type in the same letter repeatedly. As you all noticed, when you click the links, it makes the letters you've already selected unclickable. So, I think we'll just leave it this way...

Yeah, I agree, the link-thing is better.

I didn't think of that Mad Dog, and I'd prob be one of those stupid peope, LOL! It would be a nice option though as an add-on--you could either click or type.

we'll think about it.

I definitely think that the facility to look up words would be good. i get that on my language master so it'd be good to have it on here too.

I asked admin about that, and he did say that he may put it in soon. I'll let you all know when it is implamented.

hello infidels! Well, to prove that we do occasionally listen to you, we have put in the thing where you can click on a word whenever you lose a game to look it up!
Keep the ideas coming, and we'll pretend that we're actually considering them!
